We haven't been covering it too closely, but now that Rock Band 2 supports DLC, all the previously available tracks have been being added slowly but surely to the Rock Band store. It'll take them quite a while to catch up, but at least they're making more of an effort than Activision is making with Guitar Hero World Tour..
What is this?? Rygar!?? This game has been teased for well over a year now and we were sure it either slipped out unnoticed or got quietly cancelled. Turns out we were wrong, because here it is.. just in case you haven't had a chance in the past few years to play the PS2 version. Nintendo DS Releases for 1/27/2009
This week we're only getting a single game for each the WiiWare and VirtualConsole services. The WiiWare title, Niki Rock n Ball(500 points) is about two steps away from melting our minds at the seams, as it claims to recreate classic arcade gameplay. The question, of course, is classic gameplay of what? We're racking our brains but we can't come up with any game thats at all reminiscent of this. Even so,.. for 5 bucks.. perhaps it's worth an hour or two to play around with it. On the other hand, we have Wonder Boy in Monster Land(500 points) for the Sega Master System, which is a side scrolling platformer with some light RPG elements. Definitely worth a look for the money.

Well,.. we're updating quite late in the day because we've been taking it easy on this snowy MLK day here in Philadelphia. It's not like there's a whole lot on WiiWare and Virtual Console to be excited about anyway, though.
IGN is claiming that, according to sources, the recently announced Nintendo DSi could be launching in the US as early as April 4th for the price of $180.
