This is a pretty big week for the virtual console. A first-party Nintendo game is being released, and that's always a big deal. What game, you ask? Super Punch Out (SNES, 800 Points)! Undoubtedly, Nintendo is whetting our appetites for the main course: the upcoming release of Wii Punch Out in a few weeks. In addition, there is a new WiiWare title this week: Bonsai Barber (1000 Points) which involves.. cutting the hair of different fruit and vegetable based customers.
Are you a fan of toilet humor? Do you have a golden flat top, abs of Adonis, and a gruff voice? Do you utterly despise aliens? Do you live near New York, LA, or Dallas? ![]() Yes you say? Well perfect! Deep Silver and Apogee Software could use you. They're presently combing the nation in search of a live action Duke Nukem to represent Duke Nukem Trilogy, coming soon for the Nintendo DS(and Sony PSP). The contest will run in three segments, beginning in New York, then traveling to LA, and finally Dallas. In each city, more and more Dukes will be eliminated until just one is left standing. This week marks the release of the newest entry into the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series, which should be interesting for connecting the Wii and DS together. Only time will tell if this will work out better than it did previously on the Gamecube and GBA.

It's a big week for Hudson as they've totally dominated the Wii shop this morning.
The original Puzzle Quest was a brilliant game. It combined light RPG elements with simple, familiar gameplay.. attracting both the hardcore and casual crowd to a game that none of us saw coming. |












Today, at the 2009 Game Developers Conference, Iwata announced Wii Menu 4.0 which is live in North America right now.
Nintendo dropped us a note to let us know that they've sold a whopping 10 MILLION copies of Wii Play. This has to be a record for the most copies of the worst game ever sold.
One of the best things about the DS is the possibilities extended to it's software through the unique hardware. Dual screens, a stylus, a microphone.. leave it to Nintendo to give developers interesting mediums for the
