smoger and mbstr are back to their usual jive, but dealing with some urban interruptions this time around. Noisy kids, pimped out rides, and even a mystery phone call mar the otherwise serene setting of this episode. mbstr seems strangely obsessed with smoger's relationships or lack thereof. Maybe it's some kind of weird man crush.. you decide! Aside from that banter, we discuss new online Hudson WiiWare titles coming soon, new information on the upcoming Spiderman Web of Shadows game, and cover all the newest releases on the Wii and DS. In a recent interview for Marvel.com, Zak Krefting, Creative Director at Shaba Games discussed the upcoming Spiderman game, Web of Shadows. ![]() In the interview, he get's into some details about character customization, endings, and sadly, hinted that this is the game that could have become Spiderman VS. Marvel Zombies. He also mentions that the Wii version will not be toned down for the assumed "casual" Wii audience. That's what we like to hear! Lack of zombies withstanding, we love the sound of this game and we'll be watching it closely as it draws ever closer to it's fall release. Shaba seems to be taking the Spiderman franchise to new heights thanks to an original storyline, non-linear gameplay, RPG-like character progression, and huge destructible environments. ![]() Word came forth today from the annals of the internet, that Japanese gaming mag Famitsu has released some details on a Wii remake of the horror classic Resident Evil 2. Aside from the original game features, the Wii version may feature additional story details and a new character, as well as a viewpoint similiar to that of Resident Evil 4. Sounds good to us! You know we can never get enough Zombies! No word yet on whether this would even make it to North America..

After a drought of a week, it seems that games are back, especially if you're a kid or into sports games. Or maybe even both. We still can't decide if we're excited for Super Sluggers or not... maybe it would have been more exciting had it come out in April..
