There's a few good releases hitting the Wii this week, such as Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: JUSTICE FOR ALL and Sonic and Knuckles. ![]() It's the latter that we're more interested in, as it brings it's "Lock-On technology" to the Virtual Console. For those who are maybe a bit too young to remember, Sonic and Knuckles featured a flap on the top of the cartridge, which allowed another cartridge to be slotted in. Plugging in another Sonic title essentially patched the game to include some new artwork and Knuckles as a playable character. This was groundbreaking at the time, and just as neat on the Virtual Console. For anyone who already owns the other Sonic titles on the service, this purchase will allow you to play the "Knuckles" version of those games as well.
