We were thrilled when Club Nintendo debuted in North America last year, but much to our disappointment, we quickly learned that the big N is not so fast to offer new gifts to it's members. ![]() As such, we've had the same choices since launch,.. until now. Nintendo has added a few new smaller items to the selection, and while it isn't anything like the retro SNES controller they've offered in Japan, these new items such as Mario-themed folders look quality enough and are some of the cheaper items up for offer. Head over to the Club Nintendo site to see the rest of the items.
Along with this week's downloadable software update, Nintendo sent word that they've updated the Nintendo Channel with a new look as well as some new features.
This is a pretty nice week for the Wii, with at least 3 anticipated titles seeing the light of day. DS Releases for 6/16/2009
![]() While the title may not make a lot of sense, this new take on the Metroid series has a lot going for it. It's being developed by the famed Team Ninja- also responsible for the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive titles of the past few years. So what can we expect from Other M? Hopefully a combination of Gaiden and Metroid - action packed combo based combat combined with exploration and ability collection in a semi-open world. It's a big task, but if anyone can pull it off we're sure Team Ninja can. The looks of this game are already fantastic and we can't wait to learn more about Samus Aran's past. ![]() ![]() ![]()
Well, we're back and playing catch up here. We wanted to post a bunch of assets from E3 and give our take on it. So, look for some post E3 impressions for the next day or two.
We've already talked about Wii menu 4.0 and it's changes a little earlier, but that's not all that was revealed at this year's GDC.
Another new console, another new Bond game...
