For quite a while now, Japanese Wii owners have had the option of an upgraded Classic Controller featuring a very PS2-esque design. It adds a second set of triggers and some grips for better compatibility with newer games.

If you've been waiting for your shot at one of these, your day is soon coming, since they'll be available for those of us in the US come spring with the arrival of Capcom's Monster Hunter 3 Tri. That bundle will include a black CCP and will retail for $59.99.

There will also be a standalone package(white or black) at the very reasonable $19.99. The CCP continues to work for all VirtualConsole titles and for any Wii and WiiWare titles that support the current Classic Controller.
