Looks like the Nintendo Channel actually beat WiiWare by a few days, as it's now live and available for downloading. As expected, the channel is free and features all kinds of Nintendo-centered content.

Hopefully Nintendo stays interested in this channel as it could be a great source of information for all of us. Microsoft has done a great job with "Inside Xbox" and hopefully Nintendo follows suit with timely updates and meaningful video content.

And let's not forget the DS demos. With so many great DS games on the market, having our own in-home download stations will be a great way for us to decide how to spend out limited gaming dollars in a tight economy.
